Livestock Library is free to use while we grow it — the whole product, at any herd size, no card and no trial period. Paid plans are coming; when they arrive we will say so clearly and give you plenty of notice, and your records stay readable and exportable whatever happens. Paid tiers are a simple flat monthly fee by size — no per-animal metering, no surprise line items, and no charge that appears at renewal you didn't agree to. The exact figures are set at launch; ask us for a quote for your operation. We won't publish a number we might quietly change on you later.

What changes as you move up is scale and support — head count, number of properties, and how much of a hand we give you setting it up. The capabilities below are never taken away to sell you the next plan.

Is the free tier really free?
Yes. Up to 200 head, the Hobby tier is free and needs no card. It's the full core product — the offline app, compliance, weights, records and the AI assistant — not a stripped-back trial.
How is head count counted?
By the live head on your place — the animals currently in your herd, not every animal you've ever recorded. Stock you've sold or that have died don't count against your tier, and your full history is always kept.
What happens when I go over a tier?
Nothing is ever deleted, and right now nothing stops: the product is free at any herd size while we grow it. When paid plans arrive we will give you clear notice first, and reading and exporting your records will keep working whatever your plan, so you can always produce them for an audit or take them with you.
Do I pay per user?
No. Paid tiers include your whole team — owner, managers, farmhands, your vet and your accountant — with roles that control what each person can see and do. You're charged by the size of the operation, not the number of hands.
Can I get my data out?
Any time, on every tier — and that survives a lapsed plan. A full export of your animals, movements, treatments and records is a right, not a retention lever. Even if your account is waiting on a plan, reading and exporting still work, so an LPA audit never depends on your billing. If you ever leave, you take a clean copy with you.
What does Enterprise cost?
