Log the treatment. We start the clock. Live

One place for every drench, vaccine, illness, injury and death — recorded against the mob or the individual animal, with the withholding period and export interval calculated for you the moment you enter it.

The health record is where compliance and welfare meet. A drench you gave today decides whether a beast can be sold in three weeks; an illness you noted becomes the history that tells you which cow to cull. Livestock Library keeps all of it in one typed record and does the withholding maths so you never have to hold a date in your head.

Every kind of animal-health event lives in the same place: treatments and vaccinations, illness and injury, and mortality. You can log against a whole mob in one action — "drenched the weaners" — or against a single animal, and the platform resolves a mob-level treatment to exactly the animals that were in that mob at that moment.

How it works

From the crush to a clear-from date.

01

Record it

Log the treatment, vaccine, illness or injury against the mob or the animal — in the yards, offline, in a couple of taps.

02

Clock starts

The withholding period (WHP) and export slaughter interval (ESI) are computed from the product and date, giving a clear-from date per animal.

03

Safe to sell

Before you consign, a check warns you about any beast still in withholding — so nothing goes on the truck it shouldn’t.

Mob-level, resolved to the right animals

Treating a mob shouldn’t mean tapping through two hundred tags. Log it once against the mob and the platform records it against every animal that was a member at that instant — via the membership history, so an animal that later leaves the mob keeps the treatment on its record and one that joins afterwards doesn’t wrongly inherit it.

Withholding done by code

The clear-from date is calculated deterministically from the product’s withholding period and the treatment date — never estimated. That’s the number that stops an expensive mistake at the saleyard or the works, so it’s computed by tested code, and it drives the pre-consignment check that flags any animal not yet clear.

Illness, injury and mortality

Beyond routine treatments, the same record captures the sick and the injured, and mortality when it happens. Deaths flow through to the trading statement and the herd count automatically, so your numbers stay true without a separate reconciliation, and the health history builds the case for culling or breeding decisions later.
