The station to-do list that lives where the work does. Live

Fence repairs, bore runs, chemical orders and yard jobs — assigned to a person, with a due date and a property, raised straight from a paddock note and checked off from the phone.

Running cattle is more than the cattle. There’s the fence in the north paddock, the bore that needs a look, the trough that’s leaking, the chemical that’s running low. Right now that list lives on a whiteboard in the shed, in someone’s head, or in a text message. Jobs brings it into the same platform as the stock work, tied to the place and the people.

A job is simple on purpose: what needs doing, which property it’s on, who’s on it, and when it’s due. The power is in where it comes from and where it shows up — spotted in the paddock, assigned from the office, and done from the phone.

How it works

From “check the fence” to done.

01

Raise it

Add a job from the office, or let a paddock note create one — “check the fence in the north paddock” becomes a job on that property.

02

Assign it

Give it an owner and a due date. Each person sees their jobs across the properties they work.

03

Close it

Whoever’s on it ticks it off from the field app — offline, like everything else — and it clears from the list.

Raised from a paddock note

The best jobs list is the one you don’t have to remember to write. Speak a note in the yard — “drenched the weaners and check the fence in the north paddock” — and the assistant turns the fence part into a job on the right property while it turns the drench part into a treatment. You confirm it with a tap; nothing is created behind your back.

Tied to a property and a person

Because every job belongs to a property, jobs roll up the same way stock does: head office can see what’s outstanding across every block, and a station manager sees just their station’s list. And because jobs are assigned to people, everyone knows what’s theirs without a morning phone-around.

What it is — and isn’t

Jobs is a genuinely useful station task list — assignment to a person or a team, due dates, steps, photos, repeats and reminders, the per-property roll-up, and the paddock-note-to-job link — rather than a heavy project tool. It works offline in the field app like the rest of the platform: raise a job in the paddock, tick it off in the yards, and a team job sits in a queue anyone on the team can claim.

Live

Jobs is live: raised from the office, a paddock note or the phone, assigned to a person or a team, and checked off from the offline field app.
