LPA requirement 6, without the paper folder. Live

A farm biosecurity plan and a visitor register kept in the same platform as your stock — so the paperwork an LPA audit asks for is there, current, and not a clipboard rusting on the gatepost.

Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) accreditation is what lets you fill out vendor declarations, and requirement 6 is biosecurity: a documented on-farm biosecurity plan and a record of visitors and their risk. It’s the box a lot of otherwise well-run operations scramble to tick at audit time. Livestock Library keeps it current as part of normal life on the place.

The plan is a living document tied to your properties; the visitor register is a simple log of who came onto the place, when, and where they’d been. Together they’re the evidence an assessor wants to see — kept digitally, so it’s legible, complete, and always to hand.

How it works

Kept current, not crammed.

01

Plan

Hold your farm biosecurity plan against the property — the measures you take and the risks you manage — and keep it up to date.

02

Log visitors

Record who comes onto the place and the risk they bring, from a phone at the gate — no paper sheet blowing away.

03

Show it

At audit, the plan and the register are there, current and complete — the evidence for LPA requirement 6.

A plan that stays alive

A biosecurity plan printed once and filed is worth little the day something changes. Kept in the platform against the property, it’s easy to review and update as your practices change — and it’s where an assessor, or a new manager, can actually find it.

A visitor register at the gate

The visitor register records who’s been on the place and where they’d come from — the movements that matter for disease risk. Logged from a phone, it’s legible and time-stamped, not a rain-warped sheet on a clipboard. It’s the record that turns “we’re careful about visitors” into evidence you can show.

Privacy, on purpose

The register holds the most personal rows on the platform — names, phone numbers, vehicle regos — so it is deliberately fenced: visitor details are never sent to the AI layer, and a phone only ever holds the sign-ins it recorded itself. The full register lives in the office view, where an audit actually reads it.

Live

The biosecurity plan and visitor register are live — including signing a visitor in at the gate from the field app, with no reception.
